Prywatność w Serpent City

Aktualizacja: 2 października 2026 r.

Ta polityka opisuje dane przetwarzane przy korzystaniu z gry. Za ich przetwarzanie odpowiada Błażej Dominiak, twórca Serpent City. W sprawach danych napisz na adres podany na stronie kontaktowej. Jeśli sprawa dotyczy konta, podaj identyfikator gracza, aby można było je odnaleźć.

Konto i rozgrywki online

Do logowania używamy Steam. Gra otrzymuje identyfikator Steam i publiczną nazwę gracza, a następnie tworzy powiązany profil Serpent City.

Czat, zgłoszenia i dane techniczne

Korespondencję wykorzystujemy do odpowiedzi i rozwiązania zgłoszonej sprawy.

Serwer przetwarza też adres IP, informacje o połączeniu i błędach. Służą do utrzymania działania gry i wykrywania nadużyć.

6 ust. 1 lit. b RODO). Obsługa zgłoszeń, usuwanie usterek i ochrona graczy opierają się na uzasadnionym interesie prowadzenia bezpiecznej, działającej usługi (art. 6 ust. 1 lit. f RODO).

Kto ma dostęp do danych

Inni gracze widzą Twój nick, awatar, publiczne informacje profilu i dane wspólnej rozgrywki.

Steam obsługuje własne konta i dystrybucję gry według polityki prywatności Steam.

Eksport, usunięcie i pozostałe prawa

W panelu profilu znajdziesz funkcje eksportu danych i usunięcia konta.

Privacy in Serpent City

Updated: 2 October 2026

This notice explains how data is handled when you use the game. The data controller is Błażej Dominiak, the creator of Serpent City. For questions or requests about your data, use the email address on the contact page. Include your player ID if your request concerns an account so we can find it.

Your account and online matches

We use Steam for sign-in. The game receives your Steam ID and public player name, then creates a linked Serpent City profile. We do not receive your Steam password.

Our server stores your nickname, avatar, statistics and profile history, along with online match data: participants, settings, moves, saved game state and results. These are needed to run matches, reconnect you after a lost connection and save progress. Account data is required for online features. A custom avatar is optional.

Chat, reports and technical data

We process messages sent in chat and reports of bugs or abuse. A bug report may include a description, diagnostics and an attached screenshot. We use correspondence to reply and resolve the reported issue.

The server also processes IP addresses, connection information and errors to keep the game running and detect abuse. For moderation, we record reports, related evidence and any account restrictions applied.

Data needed to operate accounts and matches is processed to fulfil the agreement to provide the game (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Handling reports, fixing faults and protecting players are based on our legitimate interest in running a safe, working service (Article 6(1)(f)).

Who can access the data

Other players can see your nickname, avatar, public profile information and data from matches you share. Chat messages are visible to their recipients. The developer and authorised support or moderation staff can access data needed for their work. The server and email providers we use also process data to provide those services.

Steam operates its own accounts and distributes the game under the Steam privacy policy. That policy also covers Steam's processing of data outside the European Economic Area.

How long we keep data

After account deletion, we may retain data needed to enforce an existing ban and a record that deletion was completed. Technical logs are kept for the time needed to diagnose faults and investigate incidents. Older data may remain in backups until they are replaced or deleted; account deletions are taken into account when restoring data.

Export, deletion and your other rights

The profile panel provides data export and account deletion. Deleting your Serpent City profile does not delete your Steam account or game licence.

You can also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. The scope of these rights depends on the purpose and legal basis of the processing. We normally respond within one month. You may also complain to Poland's data protection authority, UODO, or the authority in your country.
